Zane | Ayurveda Practitioner | founder of shakti veda Spa
“My work in Ayurveda is my mission. I bring the healing from outside in and inside out, by incorporating beautiful Ayurvedic principles”
I became interested in traditional art of healing of Yoga and Ayurveda at the age of fourteen when I found the first book on Jnyana Yoga. In 1994, I was incredibly lucky to meet my Guru – Shiva Vaakya Sidha Baba, in my home town Latvia and learned the deepest knowledge of Vedic sciences, including Ayurveda. I graduated as Physiotherapist from University of East London in 2010 and Ayurveda Pura Academy as Ayurvedic therapist. I continued my Ayurvedic Medicine degree with Middlesex University, London.
It has been a life long journey to be able to give back to the community through the sacred healing art of Ayurveda. Every renewed body is blessing to my and our community’s life.
I welcome you to our Urban Day Spa to benefit from the healing power of Ayurvedic beauty, body and health treatments.
Caroline | Hatha Yoga Teacher
“I am an advocate for yoga’s benefits – heart, mind, soul and body connection – and through practice I help student’s to explore this within themselves”
When I first stepped on a Yoga mat I knew that I have found my passion. I continue to be inspired by the physical, mental and spiritual benefits of this ancient practice and how the lessons learned on the mat can be applied the transformation of the everyday life.
After a decade of the personal practice, in 2016 I trained with Sunpower Yoga UK to become a Hatha Yoga teacher. My mission is through the self guided instruction, to help students explore their own courage, strength and flexibility through the physical and meditative practice. Learning how these discoveries can lead to a deeper body and mind awareness.
After attending a CPD workshop on Ayurveda Yoga with Tarik Devish, it has inspired me to work with Yoga in Ayurvedic way.
